Refund Policy

1. Completed Sessions

Once a treatment session has taken place, it is non-refundable.

This applies regardless of:

  • Outcome

  • Symptom improvement

  • Change of mind

Physiotherapy outcomes cannot be guaranteed, and this does not constitute grounds for a refund.

 

2. Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Our cancellation policy is strict and applies to all clients.

  • 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full

  • Missed appointments (no-shows) are charged in full

Charges for late cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.

 

3. Advance Payments

Where payment is taken in advance (e.g. deposits or special arrangements):

  • Payments are refundable only if the appointment is cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the payment being retained in full

 

4. Clinic-Cancelled Appointments

If Harris Physiotherapy cancels an appointment, you may choose either:

  • A full refund, or

  • A rescheduled appointment at no additional cost

 

5. Block Bookings (Where Offered)

Block bookings are offered at the discretion of the business owner and are not standard practice.

Where a block booking has been agreed:

  • Individual sessions within the block remain subject to the 24-hour cancellation policy

  • If the remaining block is cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice before the next scheduled appointment:

    • Any unused sessions will be refunded

  • Refunds do not apply to sessions already attended or missed

Block bookings are not transferable unless explicitly agreed.

 

6. Exceptional Circumstances

We recognise that exceptional situations may arise (e.g. sudden illness, emergencies, bereavement).

In such cases, refunds or fee waivers may be considered at our discretion, but are not guaranteed.

 

7. Refund Method & Processing Time

  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method only

  • Cash payments will be refunded in cash where applicable

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days

  • Any third-party processing fees (e.g. payment provider fees) are non-refundable.
