All treatments are provided by HCPC and CSP registered Chartered Physiotherapists.

2. Scope of Services

Harris Physiotherapy provides the following face-to-face services only:

  • Physiotherapy

  • Sports Massage

  • Rehabilitation programmes

  • Acupuncture

Information provided on this website, including blog content, is for general advice and educational purposes only and does not constitute medical diagnosis or personalised treatment advice.

3. Appointments & Booking

Appointments may be booked:

  • Online via our booking system

  • By phone or email

Appointments are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where clinically appropriate.

 

4. Payment

  • Payment is due after each session

  • Accepted methods: card or cash (card preferred)

  • Block bookings are not routinely offered and are only available at the discretion of the business owner

Failure to pay at the time of treatment may result in refusal of future appointments.

5. Cancellations & Missed Appointments

This policy is strictly enforced.

  • 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full

  • Missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged in full

If Harris Physiotherapy needs to cancel an appointment, you will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or

  • A rescheduled appointment

6. Student Observation

Some consultations may be observed by physiotherapy students for educational purposes.

  • Observation will only occur with your explicit permission

  • You may refuse or withdraw consent at any time

  • If consent is withdrawn, the student will leave immediately and treatment will continue uninterrupted

Refusing student observation will not affect your care.

 

7. Medical Information & Consent

Clients are required to:

  • Complete a health questionnaire before treatment

  • Provide accurate and complete medical information

By attending treatment, you confirm that:

  • You understand the nature of physiotherapy and related treatments

  • You consent to assessment and treatment

  • You understand that treatment may cause temporary effects such as soreness, stiffness, or bruising

While treatment aims to improve symptoms, results cannot be guaranteed.

 

8. Age Policy

  • Clients must be 16 years or older

  • Clients under 18 require written parental or guardian consent

  • Harris Physiotherapy reserves the right to require a parent or guardian to be present during treatment

 

9. Records & Data Protection

  • Booking and contact details are stored digitally

  • Clinical notes are stored securely in paper format

  • Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law

We do not share your information with third parties unless legally required or clinically necessary.

 

10. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us directly at info@harrisphysiotherapy.com in the first instance.

If the matter cannot be resolved, you may escalate to:

  • Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)

  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

 

11. Limitation of Liability

Harris Physiotherapy will not be liable for:

  • Loss or damage resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client

  • Indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded by law.
